I have always found both of these widgets very helpful for new keyword ideas. It also helps that it displays the search volume for the keywords, so you don’t have to go and research them yourself.
Answer The Public
Let me introduce you to a cool search query data visualization tool called Answer The Public. It fetches and maps keyword suggestions/predictions that you see when you perform a Google search.
Enter a keyword in Answer The Public and you’ll be presented with questions, prepositions and alphabetical lists related to your query. It is part of the semantic search we’re seeing more of as machine learning begins to take precedence online.
You could regard it as a means of generating search engine infographics on the fly. These images can be downloaded and used in reporting or presentations. You may also export the data to a .CSV file in a spreadsheet.
Google Correlate is a tool that Google rolled out in 2011. It’s a close cousin to Google Trends – it’s actually Google Trends in reverse (and just as powerful). According to Google, its a tool on Google Trends which enables you to find queries with a similar pattern to a target data series. The target can either be a real-world trend that you provide (e.g., a data set of event counts over time) or a query that you enter.
World Tracker Scout
Scout is a simple extension tool for your Chrome browser that turns the web into a huge keyword generator. Hit the extension while browsing any webpage and it will pluck out the most relevant keywords from that page. (It’s like a keyword density checker, but better.) It displays the data as a word cloud, which you can also manipulate to refine the suggestions by relevance and number of words.

This is one of my favorite tools. KWFinder is a long tail keyword research tool with a great interface. It shows you trend, search volume, CPC, and level of difficulty in results
As you’d expect, it operates as a keyword finder, but if you click on an individual keyword, a second pane pops up showing its difficulty level (from one to a hundred) and the current Google search results.
Moz’s Keyword Explorer
Keyword Explorer is a new tool by Moz that adds some extra dimensions to keyword research. In addition to Volume and Difficulty, Keyword Explorer offers:

- Importance: How critical the keyword is to your campaign
